Overview
A scenic day combining three High Atlas valleys — Asni, Imlil and the Ourika foothills — with a gentle guided walk and a Berber lunch. Easy: roughly 2–3 hours of relaxed walking plus scenic driving.
A wonderful way to sample the variety of the High Atlas in a single day from Marrakech. You drive up through the Asni valley with its Saturday Berber market country, continue to Imlil at the foot of Toubkal for a gentle guided walk among the villages and walnut groves, then loop across to the green Ourika foothills with their river and terraced gardens.
The walking is easy and optional in length — a couple of relaxed hours with a knowledgeable Berber guide — making this ideal for those who want mountain scenery, village life and a proper home-cooked lunch without a strenuous trek. A private vehicle links the valleys so you cover a lot of beautiful ground comfortably.

Frequently asked
Questions about this tour.
How much walking is there on the three valleys day?
It is mostly easy — around 2–3 hours of relaxed walking split between Imlil and the Ourika foothills, with comfortable driving between valleys. You can do more or less on the day.
Is this better than a single-valley day trip?
If you want variety and scenery, yes — you see three distinct High Atlas valleys. If you'd rather walk more in one place, choose the Imlil Berber villages day hike instead.
How fit do I need to be?
Easy. Light walking on medina cobblestones, plus optional activities you can opt in or out of on the day.
When should I book?
For high season (Oct–Apr) and any trip involving the Sahara or hot-air balloon, book 8–12 weeks ahead. Last-minute (under 14 days) is usually still possible with a phone call.
